2. Zambiri Zachitetezo
Always adhere to basic safety precautions to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury. This appliance is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities unless supervised or instructed concerning its use by a person responsible for their safety.
2.1 Chitetezo Chambiri
- Kuyika Katswiri Kufunika: This is not a DIY system. Installation must be performed by a qualified HVAC technician in accordance with all local and national electrical and safety codes. Improper installation can result in electric shock, fire, water leakage, or other hazards.
- Chitetezo cha Magetsi: Ensure the unit is connected to a properly grounded power supply with the correct voltage (230V). Do not operate with wet hands or in wet conditions.
- Firiji: This unit uses R-32 refrigerant. Only qualified personnel should handle refrigerant.
- Chilolezo: Maintain adequate clearance around both indoor and outdoor units for proper airflow and maintenance.
- Kuyeretsa: Chotsani magetsi musanayeretse kapena kukonza.

4. Malangizo Oyika
The OLMO Mini Split system requires professional installation. The outdoor condenser comes pre-charged, and a 16-foot installation kit is included to facilitate the process. Ensure the installation site meets all requirements for proper drainage, electrical connections, and structural support.
4.1 Macheke a Pre-Installation
- Verify that the power supply matches the unit's requirements (230V).
- Ensure sufficient space for both indoor and outdoor units, allowing for proper airflow and maintenance access.
- Confirm that the wall or mounting surface for the indoor unit can support its weight.
4.2 Key Installation Steps (Overview for Technician)
- Mount the indoor unit securely on the wall.
- Install the outdoor condenser on a stable, level surface, ensuring proper vibration isolation.
- Connect the pre-flared copper line set between the indoor and outdoor units.
- Connect the communication cable and power wiring according to the wiring diagram.
- Install the drainage hose, ensuring a continuous downward slope for proper condensate removal.
- Evacuate the system using a vacuum pump to remove air and moisture.
- Open the refrigerant valves on the outdoor unit.
- Perform a leak check and test run the system.
5. Malangizo Ogwiritsira Ntchito
Your OLMO Mini Split system offers various modes and features for optimal climate control. The unit can be operated using the included remote control or via the OLMO Remote App on your smartphone.
5.1 Ntchito Yoyang'anira Kutali
The remote control allows you to adjust temperature, change operating modes (Cool, Heat, Fan, Dry, Auto), set fan speed, and activate special features like Sleep Mode or Timer functions. Refer to the remote control's dedicated manual for detailed button functions.

The system includes a Smart Kit, enabling control from anywhere using your smartphone and the OLMO Remote App. Download the app from your device's app store:

6. Kusamalira
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your OLMO Mini Split system. Always disconnect power to the unit before performing any maintenance.
6.1 Indoor Unit Maintenance
- Kuyeretsa Zosefera: The indoor unit's air filters should be cleaned every 2-4 weeks, or more frequently depending on usage and air quality. Gently remove the filters and wash them with lukewarm water and mild detergent. Allow them to dry completely before reinserting.
- Kuyeretsa Kunja: Pukutani kunja kwa chipinda chamkati ndi chofewa, damp nsalu. Osagwiritsa ntchito mankhwala ankhanza kapena zotsukira abrasive.
6.2 Kukonza Zipangizo Zakunja
- Kuyeretsa Koyilo: Periodically inspect the outdoor coil for dirt, leaves, and debris. Carefully clean the coil with a soft brush or water hose. Avoid bending the fins.
- Chilolezo: Ensure that vegetation, snow, or other obstructions do not block airflow around the outdoor unit.
- Ngalande: Check the condensate drain line for blockages.
