2.1 Kuyika kwa Battery
The water flow meter requires a CR2032 lithium battery. To install or replace the battery:

2.2 Connecting the Water Flow Meter
The RESTMO Water Flow Meter features a 360° rotating inlet and 3/4" NH hose threads, making it compatible with all standard outdoor faucets and garden hoses without requiring additional adapters.
- Ensure the water source is turned off.
- Screw the inlet (top part with the brass connector) of the water flow meter onto your outdoor faucet or the end of your garden hose. Hand-tighten only.
- Connect your garden hose, nozzle, or sprinkler to the outlet (bottom part) of the water flow meter. Hand-tighten only.
- Ensure all connections are secure to prevent leaks. Teflon tape can be used for a tighter seal if necessary.


3. Malangizo Ogwiritsira Ntchito
The water flow meter features a single push-button for control and mode switching.
3.1 Kuyatsa/Kuzimitsa
The LCD screen automatically goes to sleep if there is no operation or water flow for 1 minute to conserve battery. It will automatically activate upon water flow or a button press.
3.2 Njira zoyezera
Short press the button to cycle through the 4 different measurement modes:
- Mayendedwe: Displays the real-time water flow rate (e.g., L/Min or GAL/Min).
- Consumption Mode: Displays the water usage from the last watering session.
- Average Mode: Displays the daily average water usage over the last 7 days (counts from the next day after initial use).
- Total Mode: Displays the total accumulated water consumption since the device was last reset.

3.3 Unit Conversion & Reset
- Kutembenuka kwa Chigawo: Ndili mkati Mumayenda mumalowedwe, long press the button to switch the unit between US gallons and liters.
- Bwezerani Zambiri: Ndili mkati Consumption Mode, Njira Yapakatikati, kapena Total Mode, long press the button to reset the displayed data for that specific mode.

4. Kusamalira
4.1 Cleaning the Filter Washer
The water flow meter includes a metal filter washer at the inlet to prevent dirty, sediment, and other larger particles from entering the device and affecting measurement accuracy. Regularly check and clean this filter to ensure optimal performance.

4.2 Kukana Nyengo
The device has an IPX6 waterproof grade, ensuring stability for outdoor use and resistance to UV, sunshine, and rain. However, it is recommended to store the device indoors during extreme weather conditions or prolonged periods of non-use to extend its lifespan.
5. Mavuto
- Palibe Chiwonetsero: Check if the battery is correctly installed and has sufficient charge. Replace the CR2032 battery if needed.
- Kuwerenga Molakwika: Ensure the metal filter washer is clean and free of debris. Verify that all connections are tight and there are no leaks. Ensure water flow is consistent and not excessively turbulent.
- Kutaya kwa Ma Connections: Hand-tighten all connections. If leaks persist, apply Teflon tape to the threads. Ensure rubber washers are properly seated.
- Screen Sikuyankha: Try removing and reinserting the battery to perform a soft reset.
