2. General Safety Malangizo

5.1 Kuyambira ndi Kuyimitsa
- To start the hedge trimmer, press and hold the safety switch (usually on the front handle) and then press the main trigger switch (on the rear handle).

5.3 Njira Zochepetsera
- Top trimming: Hold the hedge trimmer at a slight angle to the top of the hedge, moving it in a sweeping motion.
- Kukonza mbali: Work from the bottom upwards, using a wide, sweeping motion. This helps ensure cut material falls away from the uncut hedge.
- Kudula mphamvu: The hedge trimmer is suitable for branches up to a maximum diameter of 24 mm. Do not force the blades through thicker branches.
