1. Dzazani Madzi Posungira: Open the top lid and fill the water reservoir with cold, fresh water to your desired level, up to the 14-cup mark. The front-fill water reservoir design makes this easy.
2. Onjezani Malo A Khofi: Place the permanent gold-tone filter or a paper filter into the filter basket. Add your desired amount of ground coffee. For best results, use 1 scoop (provided) per cup.

4. Kukhazikitsa Kapu 1-4: If brewing 1 to 4 cups, press the '1-4 CUP' button for optimized flavor extraction for smaller batches.
5. Nthawi Yopangira Mowa wa Pulogalamu (Mwasankha): To program a delayed brew, press the 'PROG' button and use the 'HR' and 'MIN' buttons to set your desired start time.
6. Yambani Moŵa: Press the 'BREW ON/OFF AUTO OFF' button to begin the brewing cycle. The coffeemaker will automatically turn off after a set period, which can be extended using the '+30' button.
7. Brew Pause: The Brew Pause feature allows you to temporarily stop the flow of coffee from the basket to pour a cup before the brewing cycle is complete. Simply remove the carafe, and the flow will stop. Return the carafe within 20 seconds to prevent overflow.

1. Kuyeretsa Tsiku ndi Tsiku: After each use, wash the glass carafe and its lid, and the filter basket in warm, soapy water. These parts are also top-rack dishwasher safe.
