The SCHEPPACH C-HT570-X is a powerful 20V IXES cordless hedge trimmer designed for trimming hedges and shrubs. It features a 51 cm cutting length and is part of the Scheppach IXES 20V battery platform, allowing compatibility with other IXES 20V batteries and chargers (sold separately).

2. General Safety Malangizo
Always observe the following safety precautions when operating the hedge trimmer to prevent injury and damage.
2.1 Chitetezo Payekha
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, gloves, sturdy footwear, and hearing protection.
- Do not operate the trimmer when tired, under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or medication.
- Sungani ana ndi anthu omwe ali pafupi ndi malo opangira opaleshoni.
- Dress properly. Avoid loose clothing or jewelry that can get caught in moving parts.
2.2 Chitetezo cha Malo Ogwirira Ntchito

4. Kukhazikitsa ndi Msonkhano
Before using the hedge trimmer, ensure it is properly set up.
4.1 Kuyika kwa Battery

4.2 Sword Guard Removal
Before operation, carefully remove the sword guard from the cutting blade. Always hold the trimmer by the handles and avoid touching the blade.
5. Malangizo Ogwiritsira Ntchito
Follow these steps for safe and effective hedge trimming.
5.1 Kuyambira ndi Kuyimitsa
- Onetsetsani kuti batire yadzaza ndi mphamvu zonse ndipo yayikidwa bwino.
- Hold the trimmer firmly with both hands, one on the front handle and one on the rear handle.
- Simultaneously press both the front and rear safety switches to start the trimmer.
- Release either switch to stop the trimmer. The quick stop feature will halt the blade rapidly.
5.2 Njira Zochepetsera
- Maintain a firm grip and balanced stance.
- Cut in a sweeping motion, moving the trimmer away from your body.
- For vertical cuts, swing the trimmer in an arc from bottom to top.
- For horizontal cuts, hold the trimmer level and sweep across the top of the hedge.
- Avoid cutting branches thicker than 16 mm in diameter.
- Regularly check the hedge for foreign objects before cutting.
