2. Kukhazikitsa ndi Msonkhano
Before initial use, ensure all components are present and undamaged. This unit is supplied without a battery and charger, which must be purchased separately from the Scheppach IXES 20V series.
2.1 Kuyika kwa Battery
- Ensure the chainsaw is switched off and the safety switch is engaged.
- Align the battery pack with the battery slot at the base of the chainsaw handle.

2.2 Chain and Guide Bar Installation (if not pre-assembled)
Refer to the detailed instructions in the separate assembly guide for precise steps on installing the guide bar and chain. Ensure the chain is correctly oriented and seated in the guide bar groove.

The chainsaw features an automatic chain tensioning system. However, it is important to periodically check the tension. The chain should be snug against the guide bar but still allow for manual movement. If adjustment is needed, use the tensioning knob as shown.

2.4 Mafuta a Chain
The chainsaw is equipped with an automatic chain lubrication system. Before each use, ensure the oil reservoir is filled with appropriate chain oil. Regular lubrication is crucial for optimal performance and chain longevity.

3. Malangizo Ogwiritsira Ntchito
3.1 Njira Zotetezera
- Nthawi zonse valani zida zodzitetezera (PPE), kuphatikiza magalasi, magolovesi, ndi zoteteza makutu.

- To start: Press and hold the safety switch, then squeeze the trigger.
- To stop: Release the trigger. The chain will stop immediately.
3.3 Njira Zodulira ndi Kugwiritsa Ntchito
The SCHEPPACH BC-PS150-X is versatile for various cutting tasks:
- Nthambi Zodulira: Ideal for trimming branches from trees and shrubs. Ensure stable footing and clear the area around the branch.
