Ensure radios are turned off before charging. The TD-M8s offers two charging methods:
- Multi-Gang Charger: Place up to 6 walkie talkies into the dedicated slots on the multi-gang charger. Connect the charger to a power outlet using the provided adapter. The indicator light on each slot will show charging status (e.g., red for charging, green for fully charged).
- USB-C Direct Charging: For individual radios, connect a USB-C charging cable to the port on the side of the walkie talkie. You can use the provided USB wall chargers, a car charger, power bank, or laptop for charging.

Kulumikiza Belt Clip
Align the belt clip with the designated grooves on the back of the walkie talkie and slide it down until it clicks securely into place. To remove, push the release tab and slide the clip upwards.

Kulumikiza Lanyard
Thread the lanyard loop through the small hole located near the top of the walkie talkie. Secure the lanyard by passing the larger end through the loop and pulling it tight.
Basic Operation
Kuyatsa/Kuzimitsa ndi Kusintha kwa Voliyumu
Rotate the Power/Volume knob clockwise to turn the radio on. Continue rotating clockwise to increase the volume. Rotate counter-clockwise to decrease the volume and turn the radio off.
Kusankha Channel
Use the Channel (+) and (-) buttons on the side of the radio to select your desired channel. Ensure all radios intended for communication are set to the same channel.
Kutumiza (PTT)
Kuti mutumize mawu anu, dinani ndikusunga batani la PTT. Lankhulani momveka bwino mu maikolofoni. Tulutsani batani la PTT kuti musiye kutumiza mawu ndi kumvetsera yankho.
VOX Function (Voice-Activated Transmission)
The VOX feature allows for hands-free conversations without pressing the PTT button. To activate/deactivate VOX:
- Zimitsani wailesi.
- Press and hold the PTT and Channel (-) buttons simultaneously.
- While holding, turn on the radio. You will hear a voice prompt indicating "VOX ON" or "VOX OFF".

Earpiece Use
Connect the acoustic earpiece to the accessory port on the side of the walkie talkie. The earpiece features an integrated microphone and a finger PTT button for private and clear communication, especially in noisy environments.

- Palibe Mphamvu: Ensure the battery is fully charged and properly inserted. Rotate the Power/Volume knob to turn on the device.
- Sitingathe Kutumiza/Kulandira: Verify that all radios are on the same channel and that the PTT button is being pressed correctly. Check for obstructions or excessive distance between radios.
- Kusamveka Bwino Kwambiri: Adjust the volume. Ensure the microphone and speaker are not obstructed. Check for strong interference sources.
- VOX Sikugwira Ntchito: Ensure VOX is activated as per the instructions in the Basic Operation section. Adjust VOX sensitivity if available (refer to full product manual for advanced settings).
- Kulipiritsa: Ensure the charger is properly connected to a power source and the radio is correctly seated in the charging slot or the USB-C cable is firmly connected.
