The Clatronic KA 3805 is designed to prepare 8 to 10 cups of aromatic filter coffee (approximately 1.2 liters). It features a double-walled stainless steel thermal carafe to keep your coffee hot and preserve its aroma.

4. Kukhazikitsa ndi Kugwiritsa Ntchito Koyamba
4.1 Kutulutsa

Before brewing coffee for the first time, clean the appliance to remove any manufacturing residues.
- Fill the water tank with cold water up to the 'MAX' mark.
- Place an empty paper filter (size 1x4 or similar) into the filter holder, or ensure the permanent filter is clean and in place.
- Place the thermal carafe with its lid closed on the heating plate.

- Press the On/Off switch to start a brewing cycle without coffee grounds.
- Allow the full cycle to complete.
- Discard the water from the carafe.
- Repeat this process 2-3 times to ensure thorough cleaning.

5. Malangizo Ogwiritsira Ntchito
5.1 Kuphika Khofi
- Tsegulani chivindikiro cha thanki yamadzi.
- Fill the water tank with fresh, cold water up to the desired number of cups using the water level indicator. Do not exceed the 'MAX' mark.
- Open the filter holder cover.
- Insert a paper filter (size 1x4 or similar) into the removable filter holder, or ensure the permanent filter is clean.
- Add the desired amount of ground coffee into the filter. A general guideline is one level tablespoon of coffee grounds per cup (approx. 7g per cup). Adjust to your taste.
- Close the filter holder cover securely.
- Place the thermal carafe with its lid closed on the heating plate. Ensure it is correctly positioned to activate the drip-stop mechanism.

- Press the On/Off switch. The indicator light will illuminate, and the brewing process will begin.

5.2 Drip-Stop Function
The drip-stop function prevents coffee from dripping when the thermal carafe is removed from the heating plate during or immediately after brewing. Ensure the carafe is placed correctly to engage this feature. Return the carafe to its position within 20 seconds to prevent overflow.
5.3 Kuzimitsa Kwadzidzidzi
For safety and energy saving, the coffee maker will automatically shut off shortly after the brewing cycle is complete.

6.2 Kutsika
Mineral deposits from water can build up in your coffee maker over time, affecting performance and coffee taste. Descale your appliance regularly, depending on water hardness and frequency of use (e.g., every 2-4 weeks).

- Pour the descaling solution into the water tank up to the 'MAX' mark.
- Place the thermal carafe on the heating plate.
- Start a brewing cycle. Allow about half of the solution to brew through, then switch off the appliance and let it stand for 15-20 minutes to allow the solution to work.
- Switch the appliance back on and let the remaining solution brew through.
- Discard the descaling solution from the carafe.
- Rinse the appliance by running 2-3 full brewing cycles with fresh, cold water only to remove any residual descaling agent.
