The Einhell AQUINNA 18/28 Power X-Change garden pump is a cordless, battery-powered device designed for pumping water in various garden applications. It is part of the Einhell Power X-Change system, allowing for flexible use of compatible batteries and chargers (sold separately). This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation, setup, and maintenance of your garden pump.
Please read these instructions carefully before using the pump for the first time and keep them for future reference.

2. Malangizo a Chitetezo
Always observe the following safety precautions to prevent injury and damage to the pump.
General Safety
- Werengani malangizo onse musanagwiritse ntchito.
- Onetsetsani kuti mpope wayikidwa pamalo okhazikika, osasunthika.
- Do not operate the pump without water, as this can cause damage.
- Sungani ana ndi anthu osaloledwa kutali ndi malo opangira opaleshoni.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) if necessary.
Electrical Safety (Battery)
- Only use original Einhell Power X-Change batteries and chargers.
- Do not expose batteries to water, heat, or direct sunlight.
- Store batteries in a dry place at room temperature.
- Remove the battery from the pump before any cleaning, maintenance, or storage.

3. Zigawo Zathaview
Familiarize yourself with the main components of your Einhell AQUINNA 18/28 garden pump:
- Carry Handle: Kwa mayendedwe osavuta.
- Chipinda cha Battery: For inserting the Power X-Change battery.
- Yatsani/Kuzimitsa/Kusintha Mode: To control pump operation and select power modes.
- Water Filling Screw: For filling the pump housing with water before operation.
- Suction Connection (Inlet): Threaded connection for the suction hose.
- Pressure Connection (Outlet): Threaded connection for the discharge hose.
- Water Drain Screw: For emptying the pump, especially for frost protection.
- Mabowo Okwera: For securing the pump in a fixed location.

4. Kukhazikitsa
4.1 Kuyika kwa Battery

- Insert a charged Einhell Power X-Change 18V battery into the compartment until it clicks into place.

4.2 Mapayipi Olumikizira
- Suction Hose: Connect a suitable suction hose (minimum 1 inch diameter recommended) to the suction connection (inlet) of the pump. Ensure all connections are airtight to prevent air intake, which can reduce pump performance. The maximum suction depth is 6 meters.
- Hose yotulutsa: Connect a discharge hose to the pressure connection (outlet) of the pump. Secure all connections with appropriate clamps ngati kuli kofunikira.
4.3 Kutulutsa Pampu
Before initial operation, the pump housing must be filled with water to ensure proper function and prevent damage.
- Remove the battery from the pump.
- Unscrew the water filling screw located on the top of the pump.
- Carefully fill the pump housing with clean water until it overflows.
- Replace and tighten the water filling screw securely.

5. Malangizo Ogwiritsira Ntchito
5.1 Kuyambitsa Pampu
- Ensure the pump is primed and all hoses are securely connected.
- Lowetsani batire yochangidwa.
- Move the On/Off/Mode switch to the desired operating mode.

5.2 Mphamvu Modes
- Njira ya ECO: Provides maximum battery life with reduced pump pressure. Ideal for lighter watering tasks or when extended run time is required.
- BOOST Mode: Delivers maximum pump power and pressure (up to 2.5 bar, 25m head). Suitable for demanding applications or when higher flow rates are needed.
5.3 Kuyimitsa Pampu
To stop the pump, move the On/Off/Mode switch to the "OFF" position. For extended breaks or when finished, remove the battery.

6. Kusamalira

6.1 Kuyeretsa
- After each use, clean the exterior of the pump with a damp nsalu.
- Periodically check the suction filter (if installed) for debris and clean as necessary.
- Ensure no foreign objects enter the pump's inlet or outlet.
6.2 Chitetezo cha Frost
To prevent damage from freezing temperatures, completely drain the pump before storing it for winter or in cold conditions.
- Chotsani batire.
- Lumikizani mapaipi onse.
- Unscrew the water drain screw located at the bottom of the pump.
- Allow all water to drain completely. Tilt the pump if necessary.
- Replace and tighten the water drain screw.

6.3 Kusungirako
Store the pump in a dry, frost-free location, out of reach of children. Ensure the battery is removed before storage.
