3.1 Initial Setup and Time Setting

1. Before setting the time, ensure any plastic tab protecting the crown is removed.
2. Gently pull the crown (located on the right side of the watch case) out to its outermost position. This will stop the second hand.

1. Press the top pusher (usually located at the 2 o'clock position) to start the chronograph. The chronograph second hand will begin to move.
2. To stop the chronograph, press the top pusher again. The chronograph hands will stop, indicating the elapsed time.

4.2 Kukonzanso Chronograph

1. After stopping the chronograph, press the bottom pusher (usually located at the 4 o'clock position) to reset the chronograph hands to their zero positions.

5.1 Kukaniza Madzi

Your AVI-8 AV-4077 watch is water-resistant up to 50 meters (5 ATM). This means it is suitable for short periods of recreational swimming, showering, or washing hands. It is NOT suitable for diving, snorkeling, or prolonged water exposure. Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in before any contact with water.

5.2 Kuyeretsa

To maintain the appearance of your watch, wipe the case and crystal with a soft, dry cloth. For the leather strap, avoid excessive moisture and harsh chemicals. Clean with a damp cloth and allow to air dry naturally.

The genuine leather strap may show signs of wear over time. To prolong its life, avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and moisture. If the strap becomes wet, dry it thoroughly before wearing.

• Check if the crown is fully pushed in. If it is pulled out, the watch will not run.
