The PureVue LED Puck Lights can be installed using either surface mount or recess mount methods. Ensure you have a compatible 24-volt DC power supply and an Armacost Lighting RGB+W LED controller before beginning installation.
5.1. Surface Mount Installation
- Identify the desired location for the puck light under your cabinet.
- Secure the removable trim ring to the mounting surface using appropriate screws (not included).
- Route the 36-inch wire lead from the puck light to your power supply and controller.
- Snap the puck light into the secured trim ring.
- Connect the wire lead to your 24-volt DC power supply and Armacost Lighting RGB+W LED controller, following their respective installation instructions.
5.2. Recess Mount Installation
- Identify the desired location for the puck light. Ensure there is sufficient clearance behind the mounting surface for the puck light body.
- Carefully remove the trim ring from the puck light by gently twisting or prying it off.
- Cut a circular hole in the mounting surface that matches the diameter of the puck light body (approximately 2.25 inches).
- Route the 36-inch wire lead through the hole.
- Insert the puck light into the hole until it sits flush with the surface. The spring clips on the side of the puck light will hold it in place.
- Connect the wire lead to your 24-volt DC power supply and Armacost Lighting RGB+W LED controller, following their respective installation instructions.

6. Ntchito
The Armacost Lighting PureVue RGB+W LED Puck Light requires an Armacost Lighting RGB+W LED controller (sold separately) for full functionality, including color selection and dimming. This controller typically operates via remote control.
- Yatsani/Zimitsa: Use the power button on your Armacost Lighting RGB+W LED controller to turn the lights on or off.
- Kusankha Mitundu: Use the color selection buttons on your controller to choose from a wide range of RGB colors.
- Kuwala Koyera: Select the dedicated white light button to activate the pure 3000K white light.
- Kuchepetsa: Use the dimmer controls on your controller to adjust the brightness from 0-100%. The lights offer smooth, flicker-free dimming.
- Njira Zokonzedweratu: Your controller may offer various preset color modes or effects. Refer to your controller's manual for specific instructions.

The Armacost Lighting PureVue LED Puck Lights require minimal maintenance.
- Kuyeretsa: To clean the puck light, ensure power is off. Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these may damage the finish or electronic components.
- Kuyendera: Periodically inspect the wiring and connections for any signs of wear or damage. If any damage is observed, disconnect power immediately and contact Armacost Lighting support.
- Anatsogolera Zamoyo: The LEDs are designed for a long lifespan and do not require replacement.
