The AMP Research PowerStep operates automatically based on your vehicle's door status:
- Kutumizidwa: When any vehicle door is opened, the corresponding PowerStep will automatically extend to a comfortable stepping height.
- Kubweza: When all vehicle doors are closed, the PowerStep will automatically retract and hide beneath the vehicle's rocker panels after a short delay.
- Anti-Pinch Safety: If an obstruction is encountered during retraction, the steps will stop and reverse direction to prevent pinching.
- Kuwala kwa LED: The integrated LED lights will activate when the steps deploy, providing illumination for safe entry and exit.
