2. Kukhazikitsa
2.1 Unboxing ndi Kuyang'ana Koyamba
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that the following items are included:
- Unitech HT330 Handheld Terminal
- 5200mAh Lithium-ion Battery (pre-installed or separate)
- Chingwe cha USB
- Chingwe Chamanja
- Buku Loyambira Mwachangu (ngati likufunika)
Inspect the device for any visible damage. If any components are missing or damaged, contact Unitech support immediately.
2.2 Kuyika ndi Kuyitanitsa Battery
The HT330 is equipped with a removable 5200mAh Lithium-ion battery. To install or replace the battery:

Press and hold the Power button (located on the side of the device) for a few seconds until the Unitech logo appears. The device will boot up and guide you through the initial Android setup wizard. Follow the on-screen prompts to:

3.1 Basic Navigation

- Batani Lamphamvu: Short press to turn the screen on/off. Long press to access power options (Power off, Restart).
3.2 Kusanthula Barcode
The integrated Zebra 2D scan engine provides reliable and fast barcode scanning for 1D and 2D codes.
- Open an application that supports barcode input (e.g., inventory management app).
- Point the scanner window (located at the top of the device) towards the barcode.
- Press the dedicated scan button (typically on the side or front, often blue) to activate the scanner. A red aiming line or illumination will appear.
- Ensure the barcode is within the aiming line for optimal reading. A successful scan will usually be indicated by a beep or vibration.

3.3 Optical Character Recognition (OCR)
The HT330 supports OCR technology through Unitech USS software, allowing conversion of numbers or characters from physical surfaces into digital formats. Refer to the Unitech USS software documentation for detailed instructions on configuring and using OCR.
3.4 Connectivity (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G LTE, GPS)

- GPS: The integrated GPS function provides precise location tracking for navigation and location-based applications. Ensure location services are enabled in Zikhazikiko> Malo.
