The Sofirn HS40 features both Stepped Mode and Stepless Ramping for brightness control.

Basic Operation

• Yatsani/Zimitsani: Single click the side switch to turn the light on or off.
• Change Brightness (Stepped Mode): When the light is on, press and hold the side switch to cycle through Moon, Low, Medium, High. Release the switch to select the desired brightness level.
• Turbo mode: From ON, double-click the side switch to activate Turbo. Double-click again to return to the previous mode.
• Kuwala kwa Mwezi: From OFF, press and hold the side switch for 1 second to activate Moonlight mode.
• Tsekani/ Tsegulani: From OFF, 4 clicks to lock the headlamp. The main LED will flash twice to indicate it is locked. 4 clicks again to unlock. The main LED will flash once to indicate it is unlocked.

Advanced Operation (Stepless Rampndi)

• Activate Ramping: From ON, triple-click the side switch to switch between Stepped Mode and Stepless Rampndi.
• Sinthani Kuwala (Rampndi): In Stepless Ramping mode, press and hold the side switch to smoothly increase or decrease the brightness. Release the switch to set the desired level.

Special Modes (Strobe, SOS, Beacon)

• From ON, triple-click the side switch to enter Strobe mode.
• While in Strobe mode, double-click to cycle through Strobe, SOS, and Beacon modes.
• Single click to turn off the light.

• Kulipiritsa: Recharge the battery when the indicator light flashes red, indicating low battery. Use the provided USB-C cable and a compatible 5V/2A adapter.
