1. Mawu Oyamba

The Brother Innov-ís NQ1700E is an advanced embroidery machine designed for a wide range of projects, suitable for both beginners and experienced users. It offers a generous embroidery area and a variety of built-in features to enhance your creative endeavors.

2. Kukhazikitsa

2.1 Kutsegula ndi Kuyika

Carefully remove the machine from its packaging. Place it on a stable, flat surface with adequate space for operation and fabric handling. Ensure the power switch is in the OFF position before connecting to a power source.

2.2 Kulumikizana kwa Mphamvu

Connect the power cord to the machine's power input and then to a suitable electrical outlet. Turn the power switch ON, located on the side of the machine.

2.3 Kukonza Ulusi pa Makina

Follow the numbered guides on the machine for proper thread path. The machine features an advanced needle threading system for ease of use.

2.4 Hooping Fabric

Select the appropriate embroidery frame (6" x 10" and 5" x 7" frames are included). Place your fabric and stabilizer securely within the hoop, ensuring it is taut and wrinkle-free. Attach the hooped fabric to the embroidery unit.

3. Kugwiritsa Ntchito Makina

3.1 Using the LCD Touch Screen

The 4.85" color LCD touch screen display is your primary interface for selecting and editing designs. Navigate through menus by touching the icons on the screen.

3.2 Selecting and Editing Designs

Choose from 258 built-in designs, 140 frame pattern combinations, and 11 lettering fonts. The touch screen allows for on-screen editing, including enhanced zoom, resizing, rotating, repositioning, drag and drop, and combining designs.

3.3 Kulumikizana Opanda zingwe

Connect your machine to a wireless network to send designs directly from your PC using Design Database Transfer, eliminating the need for a USB cable.

3.4 Starting Embroidery

Once your design is selected, edited, and the fabric is hooped and attached, lower the presser foot. The machine will guide you through any remaining steps. Press the Start/Stop button to begin embroidering at speeds up to 850 stitches per minute.

4. Kusamalira

4.1 Kuyeretsa

Regularly clean the bobbin area and feed dogs using the brush provided. Remove any lint or thread buildup to ensure smooth operation. Wipe the machine's exterior with a soft, dry cloth.

4.2 Kusintha Singano

Replace the needle frequently, especially after every 8-10 hours of sewing or if it becomes bent or dull. Use only appropriate needles for embroidery machines.

  • Kuphwanya Ulusi: Check thread path, needle condition, and tension settings. Ensure the bobbin is correctly inserted.
  • Zolumphira: Replace the needle, ensure it's inserted correctly, and check thread tension.
  • Kupukuta Nsalu: Use appropriate stabilizer for your fabric type and ensure the fabric is hooped tautly.
  • Makina Oyamba: Verify power connection, ensure the presser foot is lowered, and check for any error messages on the LCD screen.
