Scanning Modes
The Tera 3106 scanner offers two primary scanning modes:
- Key Trigger Mode (Manual): Press the trigger button on the scanner to activate the laser and scan a barcode. Release the button after a successful scan.
- Continuous Mode (Automatic): In this mode, the scanner's laser remains active, continuously scanning for barcodes without requiring a trigger press. This is ideal for hands-free operation, especially when used with a scanner stand (not included).
