4. Kukhazikitsa
4.1. Kuyika kwa Battery
The meter requires batteries for operation. To install or replace batteries:
- Ensure the meter is turned OFF and disconnect all test leads from the input terminals.
- Pezani chivundikiro cha chipinda cha batri kumbuyo kwa mita.
- Use a screwdriver to loosen the screw(s) securing the cover.
- Remove the cover and insert new batteries, observing correct polarity (+ and -). The meter typically uses AAA batteries (refer to specifications for exact type).
- Bwezerani chivundikiro cha chipinda cha batri ndikuchitchinjiriza ndi zomangira.
Note: Batteries are not included with the product and must be purchased separately.
5. Malangizo Ogwiritsira Ntchito
Before taking any measurements, ensure the meter is in good working condition and the test leads are properly connected (if applicable).
5.1. Measuring AC Current (ACA)
- Sinthani kuyimba kwa ntchito ku ACA udindo.
- Dinani choyambitsa nsagwada kuti mutsegule clamp nsagwada.
- Encircle only one conductor of the circuit with the clamp Onetsetsani kuti nsagwada zatsekedwa bwino.
- Werengani mtengo wamagetsi wa AC pa chiwonetsero cha LCD.
- Zofunika: Osati clamp around multiple conductors simultaneously, as this will result in an inaccurate reading (the magnetic fields will cancel each other out).
5.2. Measuring AC/DC Voltagndi (V)
- Lowetsani kutsogolo kwa mayeso akuda mu COM terminal ndi mayeso ofiira amatsogolera ku VΩHz Pokwerera.
- Sinthani kuyimba kwa ntchito ku V~ (AC Voltage) kapena V- (DC Voltage) position. If a combined AC/DC voltage setting exists, use the ZOSANGALATSA button to toggle between AC and DC.
- Connect the test probes in parallel to the circuit or component you wish to measure.
- Werengani voltagndi mtengo pachiwonetsero cha LCD.
5.3. Kukana Kuyeza (Ω)
- Lowetsani kutsogolo kwa mayeso akuda mu COM terminal ndi mayeso ofiira amatsogolera ku VΩHz Pokwerera.
- Sinthani kuyimba kwa ntchito ku Ω (Resistance) position.
- Ensure the circuit or component under test is de-energized before connecting the test probes.
- Lumikizani ma probe oyesera kudutsa gawo lonselo.
- Werengani mtengo wotsutsa pachiwonetsero cha LCD.
5.4. Kupitiliza Kuyesa
- Lowetsani kutsogolo kwa mayeso akuda mu COM terminal ndi mayeso ofiira amatsogolera ku VΩHz Pokwerera.
- Sinthani kuyimba kwa ntchito ku Ω (Resistance) or Kupitiliza position (if separate). Use the ZOSANGALATSA button if necessary to select continuity.
- Ensure the circuit or component under test is de-energized.
- Lumikizani ma probe oyesera kudutsa dera kapena gawo lina.
- If the resistance is below a certain threshold (typically <50Ω), the meter will emit an audible beep, indicating continuity.
5.5. Mayeso a Diode
- Lowetsani kutsogolo kwa mayeso akuda mu COM terminal ndi mayeso ofiira amatsogolera ku VΩHz Pokwerera.
- Sinthani kuyimba kwa ntchito ku Diode position (often shared with continuity/resistance, use ZOSANGALATSA button to select).
- Ensure the diode is de-energized.
- Connect the red test probe to the anode and the black test probe to the cathode of the diode. The display will show the forward voltage dontho.
- Sinthani zofufuza. Chowonetsera chiyenera kusonyeza "OL" (Open Loop) pa diode yabwino.
5.6. Using Function Buttons (RAN, MAX, REL)
- RAN (Range): Press to switch between auto-ranging and manual ranging. In manual ranging, press repeatedly to cycle through available ranges.
- MAX (Maximum Hold): Press to capture and display the maximum reading. Press again to exit.
- REL (Relative): Press to store the current reading as a reference. Subsequent readings will display the difference from this reference. Press again to exit.
