4. Kukhazikitsa
- Chotsani: Carefully remove the bread maker and all accessories from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
- Kuyeretsa Koyamba: Before first use, wash the bread pan and kneading blade with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry all parts. Wipe the exterior of the appliance with a damp nsalu.
- Install Kneading Blade: Insert the kneading blade onto the shaft at the bottom of the bread pan. Ensure it is securely in place.
- Ikani Mkate Pani: Insert the bread pan into the main unit, aligning it with the base. Turn the pan clockwise until it locks into position.
5. Malangizo Ogwiritsira Ntchito
Kuwonjezera Zosakaniza:
Always add ingredients in the order specified in your recipe. Typically, liquids are added first, followed by dry ingredients, with yeast placed last on top of the dry ingredients, ensuring it does not come into direct contact with liquids until mixing begins. This is especially important for delayed start functions.
Kusankha Pulogalamu:
- Sankhani Pulogalamu: Dinani pa MENU button repeatedly until the desired program number appears on the LCD display. (Refer to Section 6 for program details).
- Choose Loaf Size: Dinani pa KULEMERA button to select your desired loaf size (1lb, 1.5lb, or 2lb).
- Sankhani Mtundu wa Chikopa: Dinani pa Kukhazikitsa mitundu button to choose between Light, Medium, or Dark crust.
- Yambani Kuphika: Dinani pa YAMBANI/IMIKANI/IMANI button to begin the baking process. The display will show the remaining time.
Ntchito Yoyambira Mochedwa:
To use the delayed start function, set your program, loaf size, and crust color. Then, use the TIMER +/- buttons to adjust the delay time. The total time displayed includes both the delay time and the baking time. Press YAMBANI/IMIKANI/IMANI to activate the delay timer. The bread maker will start automatically after the set delay.
Removing Bread:
Once the program is complete, the bread maker may enter a 'Keep Warm' cycle. Unplug the appliance. Using oven mitts, carefully remove the bread pan by turning it counter-clockwise and lifting it out. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 5-10 minutes before inverting it onto a wire rack to cool completely. Use the kneading blade hook to remove the blade if it remains in the bread.
