  2. Open your Z-Wave hub's mobile application and select the option to add a new device using SmartStart or by scanning a QR code.
  3. Scan the QR code located on the sensor unit or its packaging.
  4. Power on the sensor (ensure battery is installed). The sensor will automatically attempt to pair with the hub.

Manual Inclusion (Traditional Pairing)

  1. Place your Z-Wave hub into inclusion/pairing mode (refer to your hub's manual for specific instructions).
  2. With the sensor powered on, press the action button on the sensor unit once. The LED indicator may flash to confirm inclusion mode.
  3. If successful, your hub will confirm the device has been added.
