4.1. Important Compatibility Note

The SAMOTECH SM301Z is a Zigbee device and requires a compatible Zigbee hub for operation. It is not a Wi-Fi device and cannot connect directly to your Wi-Fi network. The SM301Z sensor is designed for wall mounting. Choose a location where motion detection is desired, keeping in mind the 3-meter maximum range.

1. Ensure the mounting surface is clean, dry, and smooth.
2. Peel off the protective film from one side of the provided mounting adhesive.
3. Attach the adhesive firmly to the back of the sensor.
4. Peel off the remaining protective film from the adhesive and press the sensor firmly onto the desired wall location for at least 30 seconds.
