  2. Kuyika: Place the ice maker on a flat, stable surface away from direct sunlight and other heat sources (e.g., stoves, furnaces, radiators). Ensure there is at least 4 inches (10 cm) of space around the unit for proper ventilation.

Operating your Arctic-Pro ice maker is straightforward. Follow these steps to start making ice.

  1. Dzazani Madzi Posungira: Open the lid and pour potable water into the water reservoir up to the MAX fill line. Do not overfill.
  2. Yatsani: Dinani pa ON/WOZIMA button on the control panel to start the ice-making cycle. The indicator light will illuminate.
  3. Select Ice Size (Optional): By default, the machine will start producing ice. To change the ice cube size, press the SANKHANI button. You can choose between Small (S) and Large (L) ice cubes. The selected size indicator will light up on the digital screen.
  4. Khazikitsani Nthawi (Mwasankha): Dinani pa TIMER button to set an automatic shut-off time. Use the SANKHANI button to adjust the hours. Press TIMER kachiwiri kutsimikizira.
  5. Kupanga Ice: The ice maker will begin producing ice within 6-8 minutes. Ice cubes will drop into the removable ice basket.
  6. Full Ice Basket Alert: When the ice basket is full, the "Ice Full" indicator will light up, and the machine will pause operation. Remove ice from the basket to resume production.
  7. Chenjezo la Madzi Ochepa: If the water level in the reservoir is too low, the "Add Water" indicator will light up. Add more water to the reservoir to resume operation.

Mineral deposits from water can build up over time, affecting ice quality and machine performance. Perform a deep clean or descaling regularly.

  3. Add a solution of water and vinegar (1:1 ratio) or a commercial ice maker cleaning solution to the reservoir up to the MAX fill line.
  4. Plug in the unit and press the CHOYERA button on the control panel. The machine will run a cleaning cycle.
  5. After the cleaning cycle, drain the cleaning solution completely.
  6. Rinse the reservoir thoroughly by filling it with clean water and running a few ice-making cycles (discarding the ice) or by manually rinsing and draining several times.
  7. Wipe down all accessible interior surfaces.
