Welcome to the world of classic arcade gaming with your new Arcade1Up Galaga Home Arcade. This manual provides essential information for the safe and proper assembly, operation, and maintenance of your unit. This cabinet features two classic games: Galaga and Galaxian.

2. Zambiri Zachitetezo

Please read and understand all safety warnings and instructions before assembling and operating this product. Failure to do so may result in serious injury or property damage.

  • Chitetezo cha Magetsi: Onetsetsani kuti chotulutsa magetsi chikugwirizana ndi voltage requirements of the arcade unit. Do not overload electrical outlets. Keep liquids away from the unit.
  • Chitetezo cha Msonkhano: Adult assembly is required. Keep small parts away from children. Use appropriate tools and follow all steps carefully.
  • Kuyika: Place the arcade unit on a flat, stable surface. Avoid placing it in direct sunlight or near heat sources.

3. Zamkatimu Phukusi

4. Kukhazikitsa ndi Msonkhano

Follow these steps carefully for proper assembly. It is recommended to have two people for certain steps.

Malangizo Apapang'onopang'ono:

  1. Step 1: Prepare Panel G
    Insert four wooden dowels (A) into the inner edge holes of Panel G.
  2. Step 2: Attach Panel G to Side Panel D
    Align Panel G with Side Panel D and secure using two long screws (B).
  3. Step 3: Prepare Support Panels
    Insert four wooden dowels (A) into each of the Horizontal Support Panels (K) and the Central Support Panel (L).
  4. Khwerero 4: Ikani Magulu Othandizira
    Insert the two Horizontal Support Panels (K) and the Central Support Panel (L) into Side Panel D. Secure them using three long screws (B).
  5. Step 5: Attach Corner Brackets to LCD Panel A
    Attach four corner brackets (F) to the LCD Panel (A) using two short screws (C) for each bracket. Do not overtighten; stop when the screw head is flush.
  6. Step 6: Insert LCD Panel A
    Carefully insert the assembled LCD Panel (A) into the designated slot on the main structure. Secure it using four short screws (C) into the brackets.
  7. Step 7: Prepare Marquee B
    Insert four wooden dowels (A) into the Marquee (B).
  8. Step 8: Insert Marquee B
    Insert the Marquee (B) into the top front section of the arcade structure.
  9. Step 9: Secure Marquee B
    Use two medium screws (D) to secure the Marquee (B) from the inside.
  10. Step 10: Slide in Back Support Panel H
    Slide Panel H into the back groove of the arcade structure. Ensure it fits securely within the groove.
  11. Step 11: Attach Top Panel E
    Place Top Panel E onto the top of the arcade structure, ensuring all wooden dowels are inserted into their corresponding holes. Secure it using six long screws (B). This step may be easier with two people.
  12. Step 12: Secure LCD Panel A from Top
    Use four small screws (C) to further secure the LCD Panel (A) from the top. Do not overtighten.
  13. Step 13: Final Top Panel Screw
    Insert one long screw (B) into the remaining hole on the top panel.
  14. Step 14: Slide in Logo Panel I
    Slide the Logo Panel (I) into the straight vertical groove at the front bottom of the arcade.
  15. Step 15: Slide in Angled Support Panel J
    Slide Panel J into the angled groove above the Logo Panel.
  16. Step 16: Remove Protective Film
    Remove any protective film from the screen and other surfaces.
  17. Step 17: Connect Control Panel C
    Attach the ribbon cable connector from the LCD panel to the Control Panel (C). Then, carefully place the Control Panel into its position.
  18. Step 18: Secure Control Panel C
    Use four long screws (B) to secure the Control Panel (C) to the arcade unit.
  19. Step 19: Connect Power Wire X
    Plug the X wire (smaller end) into the back of the box on the LCD screen.
  20. Step 20: Route Power Wire X through Back Panel F
    Take the other end of the X wire and insert it into the hole on the Back Panel (F). Wedge it into the hole until the wire stop is secure.
  21. Step 21: Secure Back Panel F
    Attach the Back Panel (F) to the rear of the arcade unit using three small screws (E).
  22. Step 22: Connect Power Wire Y
    Plug the Y wire into the X wire to complete the power connection.

5. Malangizo Ogwiritsira Ntchito

Your Arcade1Up Galaga unit is designed for easy operation.

Yatsani/Zimitsa:

Locate the power switch, typically on the top panel or near the control panel, and toggle it to the 'ON' position to start the unit. Toggle to 'OFF' to power down.

Kusankhidwa kwa Masewera:

The unit includes Galaga and Galaxian. Use the joystick and buttons on the control panel to navigate the game selection menu and choose your desired game.

  • Zosangalatsa: Controls ship movement (left/right).

  • Kuwongolera Voliyumu: Adjust the volume using the dedicated buttons or switch, usually located near the screen or control panel.

6. Kusamalira

Proper care will ensure the longevity of your Arcade1Up unit.

  • Kuyeretsa: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the cabinet and screen. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Kuthira fumbi: Regularly dust the unit to prevent buildup, especially around vents.
  • Posungira: If storing the unit, ensure it is in a dry, temperature-controlled environment.
  • Pewani Zamadzimadzi: Do not place drinks or other liquids on or near the arcade unit.

7. Mavuto

If you encounter issues with your Arcade1Up unit, refer to the following common solutions:

  • Palibe Mphamvu: Ensure the power cable is securely plugged into both the unit and a working electrical outlet. Check the power switch.
  • Palibe Chiwonetsero: Verify all internal connections, especially the ribbon cable to the control panel and the LCD panel connections, are secure.
  • Zowongolera Zosayankha: Check the ribbon cable connection to the control panel. Ensure no debris is obstructing the joystick or buttons.
  • Mavuto a Phokoso: Check the volume settings. Ensure no cables are loose.
