2.1 Hand Orientation
The GOMEXUS LS20 reel is available in both left-hand and right-hand retrieve models. Ensure you have selected the correct model for your preferred cranking hand.

2.2 Spooling Line
The LS20 features a narrow spool design, which minimizes the need for manual line management during retrieval. For optimal performance, use braided fishing line. Refer to the specifications for recommended line capacities.

3.1 Drag System Adjustment
The LS20 is equipped with a carbon fiber lever drag system for smooth and powerful stopping power. To adjust the drag:
- Set the drag lever to the 'Free' position.
- Adjust the drag button to your desired initial drag setting.
- Push the drag lever towards 'Strike' for increased drag power during a fight.

3.2 Gear Ratio and Retrieval
The reel features a high gear ratio of 6.5:1, providing efficient line retrieval. For every full turn of the handle, the spool rotates 6.5 times, retrieving approximately 41 inches (105 cm) of line.

4.1 Cleaning and Lubrication
- After each use, rinse the reel with fresh water to remove salt and debris.

- Periodically apply a small amount of reel oil to moving parts and grease to gears as recommended by GOMEXUS.
4.2 Zigawo Zofunikira
The LS20 features a high-strength brass gear, special surface treatment for improved salt resistance, and high-strength, corrosion-resistant parts, including a carbon cross washer for the drag system.

- Line Not Spooling Evenly: Check for proper line tension during spooling. The narrow spool design should minimize this issue, but ensure no obstructions are present.
