This manual provides essential information for the safe and effective operation of your Haswing GPS 50736-120W Trolling Motor. Please read all instructions carefully before use to ensure proper setup, functionality, and longevity of your product.
The Haswing GPS Trolling Motor is designed for both freshwater and saltwater use, offering advanced navigation features and precise control for an enhanced boating experience.
2. Kukhazikitsa ndi Kuyika
2.1 Mounting the Trolling Motor
The Haswing GPS Trolling Motor is a bow-mount unit. Ensure your boat's bow has a suitable, reinforced area for installation. Use appropriate marine-grade fasteners (not included) to secure the mounting bracket firmly to the boat's deck. The motor should be positioned to allow for full deployment and retraction without obstruction.
2.2 Kulumikizana kwa Mphamvu
Connect the motor to a 12V deep cycle battery (1 x 105AH recommended). Ensure all connections are secure and properly insulated to prevent short circuits. Observe correct polarity: red to positive (+), black to negative (-).
2.3 Deploying and Retracting the Motor
To deploy the motor, release the locking mechanism and gently lower the motor into the water. To retract, lift the motor until it locks securely in the stowed position. The shaft length is 48 inches, providing ample depth adjustment.

3. Malangizo Ogwiritsira Ntchito
3.1 Kuyatsa/Kuzimitsa
Ensure the motor is properly connected to the battery. Use the wireless remote control or the Helmsman APP to power the motor on or off.
3.2 Kuthamanga Kwambiri
The motor features variable speed control. Adjust the speed using the wireless remote's Speed Up/Down buttons or through the Helmsman APP. The maximum power is 660W with a maximum current of 55A.
3.3 Kuwongolera
Steering is controlled via the wireless remote or the Helmsman APP, offering 360-degree control. The motor is designed to run quietly, with a decibel level of approximately 50db.

5. Smartphone Operating System (Helmsman APP)
Download the free Helmsman APP to operate all functions of your trolling motor from your smartphone. The app provides a user-friendly interface with a live map for route management and control.
- Route Record: More convenient and accurate to create, modify, or delete unique fishing spots & routes from your live map using your touchscreen smart device. The Helmsman routes feature will keep your boat on course so that you can focus on fishing.
- Auto-Nave: The Helmsman will keep the boat following along the shoreline or other structures and maintain a constant speed. It even makes precise adjustments for wind and current.
- Save & Share: With the Helmsman, you can save unlimited fishing spots & routes on smart devices. Any of your saved information can easily be shared with your friends on the Helmsman App or Facebook.

6. Wireless Remote Control
The trolling motor comes with a hand-held wireless remote control, allowing you to operate all basic functions from anywhere on the boat. This remote remains functional even if your smart device runs out of power.
- Ntchito: On/Off, Speed Up/Down, Full Speed, Turn Left/Right, Pairing.
- Kulipiritsa: The remote can be charged with a USB charger (500AH recommended).
6.1 Kuyanjanitsa Akutali Opanda Waya
To pair the wireless remote with the motor:
- Ensure the motor shaft is vertical and the battery is connected.
- Press and hold the 'Turtle' (speed down) button on the remote and the 'magnifying glass' (pairing) button on the motor simultaneously for 5 seconds.
- You will hear three beeps, indicating a successful connection. Release both buttons.

6.2 Optional Wireless Foot Control
An optional wireless foot control (Model 50805) may be available for hands-free operation. Refer to the foot control's specific instructions for pairing and use.

7. Kusamalira
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your trolling motor.
- Pambuyo pa Ntchito Iliyonse: Rinse the motor thoroughly with fresh water, especially after saltwater use, to prevent corrosion.
- Kuyendera kwa Propeller: Regularly check the propeller for fishing line, weeds, or damage. Remove any obstructions and replace damaged propellers promptly.
- Kusamalira Battery: Keep the battery charged and ensure terminals are clean and free of corrosion.
- Kuyang'ana Chingwe: Check all electrical cables for wear, cuts, or loose connections.
