This manual provides detailed instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your Mitel Networks 6873I SIP Phone. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the device to ensure proper functionality and to prevent damage.

3. Kukhazikitsa
3.1 Kulumikiza Foni
- Lumikizani foni yam'manja: Plug one end of the coiled handset cord into the handset and the other end into the handset port on the phone base.

- Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the LAN port on the phone.

Upon successful connection, the phone will power on and begin its boot-up sequence. This process may take a few minutes as the phone obtains network configuration and registers with your SIP server. The display will show progress messages.

- Kutumiza: Mukamayimba foni, dinani pa Kusamutsa soft key, dial the new number, and then press Kusamutsa kachiwiri.
- Chepetsa: Dinani pa Musalankhule button to mute your microphone. Press it again to unmute.
- Kuwongolera Voliyumu: Gwiritsani ntchito Voliyumu buttons to adjust handset, speaker, or ringer volume.
5. Kusamalira
5.1 Kuyeretsa Foni
- Gwiritsani ntchito zofewa, damp cloth to clean the phone's surface.
- Pewani kugwiritsa ntchito zotsukira kapena zosungunulira, chifukwa izi zitha kuwononga kumaliza.
- Do not spray cleaning liquids directly onto the phone.
5.2 Zosintha za Firmware
Firmware updates are typically managed by your system administrator. Do not attempt to manually update the firmware unless instructed by your IT department or Mitel support.
