Zowonetsa:

  • Chiwonetsero cha Nthawi: Shows current time in 12 or 24-hour format.
  • Date & Day Display: Shows the current date and day of the week.
  • Sonyezani kutentha: Shows indoor temperature.
  • Zizindikiro za Alamu: Icons to show if alarms are active.
  • World Time Indicator: Shows when world time is displayed.

Mabatani Owongolera:

  • MODE/SET Button: Used to switch between display modes and enter setting mode.
  • UP (▲) Button: Used to increase values or scroll through options.
  • Pansi (▼) Batani: Used to decrease values or scroll through options.
  • ALARM/WORLD Button: Used to activate/deactivate alarms or switch to world time display.
  • SNOOZE/LIGHT Bar: Located at the top, press to activate backlight or snooze a sounding alarm.

1. Kuyika kwa Battery

  3. Insert one (1) AAA battery, ensuring the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.

The clock will power on automatically. You may hear a short beep, and the display will show default settings.

  1. M'mawonekedwe anthawi yake, dinani ndikusunga MODE/SETI button for approximately 3 seconds to enter time setting mode. The hour digits will start flashing.

  5. Pitirizani kukanikiza MODE/SETI to cycle through and set the following: Year → Month → Day → 12/24 Hour Format → Language for Day of Week (7 options).
  6. Gwiritsani ntchito MUP (▲) or PANSI (▼) mabatani kuti musinthe mtengo uliwonse.
  7. Press MODE/SETI one last time to exit setting mode and save your changes.

Kukhazikitsa Ma Alamu (Alamu 1 ndi Alamu 2)

  1. Mu mawonekedwe anthawi yowoneka bwino, dinani batani ALARM/WORLD button once to display Alarm 1 time.
  2. Dinani pa ALARM/WORLD button again to display Alarm 2 time.
  3. To set an alarm, while the desired alarm time (e.g., AL1) is displayed, press and hold the MODE/SETI button for approximately 3 seconds. The alarm hour digits will flash.
  4. Gwiritsani ntchito MUP (▲) or PANSI (▼) mabatani kuti musinthe ola la alamu.
  5. Press MODE/SETI to confirm the hour and move to alarm minute setting.
  6. Gwiritsani ntchito MUP (▲) or PANSI (▼) mabatani kuti musinthe ma alarm miniti.
  7. Press MODE/SETI to exit alarm setting mode.
  8. To activate or deactivate an alarm, press the ALARM/WORLD button to display the alarm time, then press the MUP (▲) button. An alarm icon will appear on the display when active.

Snooze Function and Backlight

  • Alamu ikalira, dinani batani SUNGANI / KUUNIKA bar at the top of the clock to activate the snooze function. The alarm will temporarily stop and sound again after a few minutes (typically 5-10 minutes).
  • To turn off a sounding alarm completely, press any other button (e.g., MODE/SETI, ALARM/WORLD).
  • To activate the backlight, press the SUNGANI / KUUNIKA bar at any time. The backlight will illuminate for a few seconds.

World Time Display

  1. Mu mawonekedwe anthawi yowoneka bwino, dinani batani ALARM/WORLD button repeatedly until the world time display appears. The display will show the time for a selected city.
  2. Gwiritsani ntchito MUP (▲) or PANSI (▼) buttons to scroll through the 32 available world cities.
  3. The clock can synchronize local and world time. Refer to the display for indicators.
  4. Press MODE/SETI kuti mubwerere ku chiwonetsero chanthawi yake.

Kuwonetsa Kutentha

The indoor temperature is continuously displayed on the screen. No specific setting is required for this feature.

Kusamalira

  • Kuyeretsa: Pukuta chipangizocho ndi nsalu yofewa, youma. Osagwiritsa ntchito zotsukira abrasive kapena solvents.
  • Kusintha Battery: When the display becomes dim or the clock functions erratically, it's time to replace the battery. Follow the "Battery Installation" steps in the Setup section. Dispose of used batteries responsibly.
