1. Kuyika kwa Battery

Place the thermo-hygrometer on a flat surface using its detachable stand. For accurate readings, choose a location away from direct sunlight, heat sources, air conditioning vents, and areas with high airflow. Avoid placing it near windows or doors where external conditions might influence readings.

Changing Temperature Unit (°C/°F)

Setting Mold Alarm Thresholds and Audio Alarm

The device features a visual and optional audio alarm to indicate high humidity levels that could lead to mold growth. The threshold can typically be set to 55%, 60%, or 65% relative humidity.

  1. Press ndi kugwira KHALANI button for approximately 3 seconds to enter the alarm setting mode.
  2. The current humidity threshold will flash. Use the MIN / MAX button to cycle through available thresholds (e.g., 55%, 60%, 65%).
  3. Press KHALANI again to confirm the humidity threshold and move to the audio alarm setting.
  4. Gwiritsani ntchito MIN / MAX button to toggle the audio alarm ON or OFF.
  5. Press KHALANI one more time to save your settings and exit the alarm setting mode.

When the humidity exceeds the set threshold, the red mold risk indicator light will flash. If the audio alarm is enabled, it will also sound.
