Back/Side Controls:

Place the thermo-hygrometer on a flat surface using its detachable stand. For accurate readings, choose a location away from direct sunlight, heat sources, air conditioning vents, and areas with high airflow. Avoid placing it near windows or doors where external conditions might influence readings.

Viewing Minimum and Maximum Values
- Dinani pa MIN / MAX button once to display the maximum recorded temperature, humidity, and dew point since the last reset.
- Dinani pa MIN / MAX button again to display the minimum recorded values.
- Dinani pa MIN / MAX button a third time to return to current readings.
- To reset the MIN/MAX values, press and hold the MIN / MAX batani pafupifupi 3 masekondi pamene viewing either MIN or MAX values. The display will flash, indicating the values have been reset.
Changing Temperature Unit (°C/°F)
Dinani pa ° C / ° F button located on the back or side of the device to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature units.
Setting Mold Alarm Thresholds and Audio Alarm
The device features a visual and optional audio alarm to indicate high humidity levels that could lead to mold growth. The threshold can typically be set to 55%, 60%, or 65% relative humidity.
- Press ndi kugwira KHALANI button for approximately 3 seconds to enter the alarm setting mode.
- The current humidity threshold will flash. Use the MIN / MAX button to cycle through available thresholds (e.g., 55%, 60%, 65%).
- Press KHALANI again to confirm the humidity threshold and move to the audio alarm setting.
- Gwiritsani ntchito MIN / MAX button to toggle the audio alarm ON or OFF.
- Press KHALANI one more time to save your settings and exit the alarm setting mode.
When the humidity exceeds the set threshold, the red mold risk indicator light will flash. If the audio alarm is enabled, it will also sound.
