5. Unsembe Guide
Follow these steps to install your Imagebon Car Stereo DVR:
5.1 Mounting the DVR Unit
The DVR unit can be mounted using various brackets. Choose the one that best suits your vehicle and preference.


- Turn off your car engine.
- Lock the DVR's screen onto your chosen mount (e.g., 3M Sticky Mount, Suction Mount, or Telescopic Bracket).
- Fix the mounted DVR screen securely on your dashboard or windshield. Adjust the viewangle ngati pakufunika.

- Insert a high-speed TF (Micro SD) card (Class 10 or above, minimum 8GB, maximum 256GB) into the dash cam's TF card slot.

- Install the rear camera on the rear of the vehicle, paying attention to its orientation. The cable can be routed along the roof of the vehicle.
- Connect the rear camera plug to the rear camera jack (2.5MM, 4-segment) on the DVR unit.
- Connect the red wire from the rear camera cable to your car's back-up light for automatic reversing view kuyambitsa.
5.5 Macheke Omaliza
- Adjust the lens position of the DVR unit to ensure it is level and captures the desired view.
- Start the engine and verify that the device is installed correctly. The system working indicator should light up, and the device should automatically enter recording mode with the recording indicator light flashing.
- Check the display screen to ensure the picture is normal. If the picture is inverted, refer to the troubleshooting section or contact support.

6.1 Power Key Functions
- Yatsani/Zimitsa: In the off state, press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn on the device. In the power-on state, press and hold for 3 seconds to save the video file ndi kutseka.
- Screen Saver/Backlight: Short press the power button to enter screen saver (HUD mode). Short press again to sleep and turn off the backlight. Short press a third time to light up the screen.
- Bwezeretsani: If the recorder crashes, locate the reset hole on the back of the fuselage and short press it to return to normal operation.
6.2 Chiyankhulo Chachikulu Chapitaview
The main interface provides access to various applications and functions.


6.3 Ntchito zazikulu
- Kuyenda: Click the "Navigation" icon to enter the default map application. Long press to select other navigation apps.
- File Woyang'anira: Click the "File" icon to manage files (copy, paste, delete) on the device.
- Maulalo a Mirror: Click the "Mirror Link" icon to activate wireless projection, mirroring your phone's screen to the DVR.
- CarPlay (for iOS): Click the "CarPlay" icon to access CarPlay functions.
- Android Auto (for Android): Click the "Android Auto" icon to access Android Auto functions.
- Kamera: Click the "Camera" icon to open the full-screen streaming media rearview mirror preview.
- Audio Out: Click the "Audio Out" icon to select audio output methods.
6.4 Njira Zotulutsira Ma Audio
The device supports four audio output methods:

- Nyimbo Zachilengedwe: Use the built-in speaker. Control with the "OFF/ON" switch in Audio Out settings.
- AUX Audio: Connect the device to your car's AUX input using an AUX cable. Ensure your car's audio input is switched to AUX. (Note: The 6.86 inch version may not support AUX Audio function).
- Kutumiza kwa FM:
- In Audio Out settings, switch to "FM" mode.
- Adjust the FM frequency on the device.
- Turn on your car's FM radio and tune it to the same empty frequency band as the device.
- BT Audio (Dual Bluetooth 5.1):
- Connect your phone to the device via Bluetooth.
- Supports hands-free calling, Bluetooth music playback, and voice broadcast.

6.5 Masewero a Multimedia
The device supports playing video, music, and viewing images from a U disk (USB flash drive).

- Kanema: Supports MP4, MOV, 3GP, MKV, FLV, WMV. Does not support 2K and 4K resolution videos, VOB, RMVB, MPG.
- Nyimbo: Supports MP3, OGG, AAC, FLAC, WAV. Does not support WMA, APE.
- Zithunzi: Supports JPG, BMP.
- Playback Behavior: If music is playing and the device is turned off, it will resume automatically when turned on. If paused, it will remain paused.
Note: The 6.86 inch version does not have U disk local playback function.
6.6 Split-Screen Display
The device supports split-screen functionality, allowing you to run two applications simultaneously.

To activate split-screen: Open the first application (e.g., Audio Out), then open the second application (e.g., Navigation map). Long press the "Navigation Bar" icon (three horizontal lines) to select the desired split-screen layout.
6.7 Real-Time Reversing View
When reversing, the DVR will automatically display the rear camera view with guidelines.


Choyambiriraview angle can be adjusted by sliding the left side of the screen to control the position of the guide line.
7. Machitidwe a Machitidwe
Access the system settings interface by clicking the "Settings" icon on the main screen.
7.1 Wireless & Network
- Wifi: Turn Wi-Fi on/off. The system will scan for available networks. Click on a network name to connect. Enter the password for encrypted networks.
- Bulutufi: Turn Bluetooth on/off. Connect to your car's Bluetooth for hands-free calls and music.
7.2 Mapulogalamu & Zidziwitso
Manage installed applications. You can view downloaded apps, apps in internal storage, running apps, and uninstall programs.
7.3 Kusungirako
View total capacity, available space, and used space for application storage and data. If a TF card or USB storage device is inserted, its capacity and usage will also be displayed.
7.4 System Preferences
- Language & Input: Set the device language and input method.
- Tsiku ndi Nthawi: Set date, time, time zone, and 24-hour format. You can choose to automatically determine these settings via the network or set them manually.
- Bwezeretsani Zosankha: Reset WLAN, mobile data network, Bluetooth settings, or application preferences. You can also clear all application data (restore factory settings).
- Za Chipangizo: View device information such as system upgrade status, device name, IP address, WLAN MAC address, product model, Android version, firmware version, kernel version, and processor type.
8. Malangizo Ogwiritsa Ntchito
- For optimal performance of CarPlay and Android Auto, ensure your phone's operating system is up to date.
- Regularly clear cached data from apps to maintain smooth operation, especially if you notice slowdowns.
- When using FM transmission, select an empty frequency on your car radio to minimize interference and ensure clear audio.
- To extend the life of your TF card, consider formatting it periodically (after backing up important recordings).
- Check your specific model variant (e.g., E8, E64) for included features like front cameras or specific memory configurations, as these can vary.
9. Mavuto
- Device unresponsive/crashed: Locate the reset hole on the back of the unit and short press it. If the issue persists, press and hold the power button for 9 seconds to force a restart.
- Inverted rear camera image: This indicates an incorrect installation or setting. Please contact customer support for guidance.
- Palibe zotulutsa: Check the selected audio output method in settings. Ensure AUX cable is properly connected if using AUX, or FM frequency is correctly matched if using FM transmission. Verify Bluetooth connection for BT Audio.
- Wi-Fi/Bluetooth connection issues: Ensure Wi-Fi/Bluetooth is enabled in settings. Try resetting network settings if problems persist.
- Apps not installing/running: Check available storage space. Ensure apps are compatible with Android 13.
