Thank you for choosing the K-1028E Universal Air Conditioner Remote Control. This remote is designed for ease of use and broad compatibility, capable of controlling over 1000 different air conditioner brands worldwide. It features a large LCD display, a built-in clock, and on/off timer functions for convenient climate management.

This remote control is compatible with approximately 99% of air conditioner brands, offering a control distance of about 8-10 meters.

Khazikitsa

1. Kuyika kwa Battery

  1. Tsegulani chivundikiro cha chipinda chama batri kumbuyo kwakutali.
  2. Insert two (2) AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Batteries are not included.

The K-1028E remote can be programmed using either manual code entry or an automatic search function.

Manual Code Entry (Recommended)

  1. Turn on your air conditioner manually.
  2. Locate the brand code for your air conditioner in the provided code list (usually included with the remote, or available online).
  3. Press and hold the 'SET' button on the remote for approximately 3 seconds until the code on the LCD screen starts flashing.
  4. Use the 'TEMP ▲' or 'TEMP ▼' buttons to input the 3-digit code for your air conditioner brand.
  5. Once the correct code is displayed, press the 'OK' button to confirm. The code will stop flashing.
  6. Test the remote by pressing the 'ON/OFF' button. If the air conditioner responds, the setup is complete. If not, try the next code for your brand or proceed to automatic search.

Kusaka Kwokha

  1. Turn on your air conditioner manually.
  2. Point the remote control towards the air conditioner.
  3. Press and hold the 'SET' button for approximately 6 seconds until the code on the LCD screen starts flashing and automatically searching.
  4. The remote will send out different codes. Pay close attention to your air conditioner.
  5. As soon as your air conditioner responds (e.g., turns on/off, changes mode), immediately press the 'OK' button to stop the search and save the code.
  6. Test the remote's functions. If all functions work correctly, the setup is complete. If not, repeat the automatic search process.

Malangizo Ogwiritsira Ntchito

Once programmed, the remote control offers various functions for your air conditioner:

  • WOYATSA/WOZIMA: Dinani kuti muyatse kapena kuzimitsa chowongolera mpweya.
  • TEMP ▲/▼: Adjust the temperature setting up or down.
  • mayendedwe: Cycle through operating modes (e.g., Cool, Heat, Fan, Dry, Auto).
  • MPHEPO: Adjust fan speed (e.g., Low, Medium, High, Auto).
  • E-kutentha: Activates electric heating function (if supported by AC).
  • KUWULA: Turns the display light on/off.
  • M.SWING / A.SWING: Controls horizontal (Manual) and vertical (Auto) swing of the air deflector (if supported by AC).
  • TIME ON / TIME OFF: Set a timer for the air conditioner to turn on or off automatically.
  • F.Cool / F.Heat: Activates fast cooling or fast heating modes (if supported by AC).
  • WACHI: Set the current time on the remote's display.
  • Ikani: Used for programming and accessing settings.
  • CHABWINO: Imatsimikizira zosankhidwa ndi zokonda.

Kusamalira
