To remove battery:
1. Remove the handheld vacuum from the wand by pressing the wand release button and pulling up.
2. Use a Phillips-head screwdriver to remove the 4 screws on the battery pack cover on the bottom of the handheld vacuum.”
3. Carefully remove battery pack cover.
4. Lift the battery out of the housing.
To install replacement battery:
1. If the battery pack cover is installed on the handheld vacuum, remove the 4 screws on the cover with a Phillips-head screwdriver and lift off the cover.
2. Insert the battery into the housing. Make sure the metal contacts on the battery touch the metal prongs on the housing. Replace the cover, with the screw holes aligned. Reinstall the screws to secure the cover.
