  • To avoid any possible damage to the Supply Cord, never allow it to be placed under a heavy object when using the appliance. It may cause fire.

  • Do not operate the appliance when the Hose Connection Inlet is blocked. This can result in deformation due to overheating.
  • Use the Handle when lifting the appliance to avoid damages to the Hose Assembly. Never lift the appliance by pulling the Hose Assembly as this can damage the Hose Assembly and never carry the appliance at storage condition.
  • Clean the filters after cleaning the Dust Compartment to avoid any damage to the motor.
  • Ensure all washable parts are completely dry before fi xing and use. This is to ensure long lasting of motor.

  1. Run the nozzle forward and backward over the carpet in one direction.
  2. Repeat step 1 at an angle of 90 degrees.
  3. Vacuum the corners of the carpet.

  • The Curtain Nozzle is most effi ciently use on fl at surfaces. For pleated area, it can be cleaned using the Crevice Nozzle or Dusting Brush Unit.

  • After vacuuming, keep the Curtain Nozzle safely.
  • When the suction is too strong (especially on satin or silk curtain), adjust the Suction Regulator backward to decrease the suction power. (Refer details on page 9)
  • Wash the curtain if there is any dirt or stain adhered on it.

HOW TO STORE THE APPLIANCE

Place the unit in an upright position for storage at corner. (2 ways to store)

  1. Place the unit in an upright position and insert the Nozzle Pipe Receptacle into the Receptacle which is located on the underside of the appliance body.
  2. Adjust the Metal Telescopic Wand to the shortest length.

Removing Dust

  1. • Find a plastic bag or similar item.

  2. Removing and cleaning the Upper Filter Unit or Pre-Filter.
    • Turn the Upper Filter Unit or Pre-Filter clockwise and pull it out.
    • Discard the dust in Dust Compartment (Upper Filter Unit or Pre-Filter area).
    • Use an old toothbrush or similar tool to clean the dust in Upper Filter Unit or Pre-Filter.

  3. Cleaning the Hose Connection Inlet.
    • Use an old toothbrush or similar tool to clean the dust in Hose Connection Inlet.

  4. Removing dust.

  5. Re-install Upper Filter Unit / Pre-Filter and Filter Assembly.
    • Put the Upper Filter Unit / Pre-Filter back into Dust Compartment (Upper Filter Unit / Pre-Filter area) and turn anticlockwise until a click sound is heard.

  6. Cleaning Dust Compartment surface.

  7. Re-install the Dust Compartment.
    • Make sure the Dust Compartment is closed before re-install.

  1. Fiber waste and hair strands which accumulated in nozzle can reduce suction power of appliance.
  2. Using an old toothbrush or similar tool, clean any dirt or lint from the brush, roller and etc. Cut off any carpet pile and lint entangled at the roller shaft with a pair of scissors.

Dust Compartment and filters

  1. Remove the Dust Compartment. (Refer details on page 14)

  3. Wash the parts above at running water only. Wipe the Dust Box, Upper Filter Unit / Pre-Filter and Slide Supporter with clean and soft cloth. Squeeze the Filter and Sponge Filter until clean.   4. Install the Filter, Dust Compartment, Upper Filter Unit / Pre-Filter, Sponge Filter, Washable Filter and Slider Supporter to the original location. (Refer to the page 16)

  • Do not wash the fi lters in a washing machine, wring out, dry in a clothes dryer or under the sun. This can cause fi lters to shrink and result in dirt getting into the motor and damaging it.
  • Do not wash the Washable Filter by rubbing with hand or using tools, example brush, etc.
  • Make sure the filters are inserted correctly to avoid dust from entering motor compartment.

When the Safety Device is activated
The Safety Device is activated and the motor stops in order to prevent overheating of the motor when:

  • The appliance is operated continuously with a full Dust Compartment.
  • Rubbish is clogging the nozzle, Curved Wand / Ergonomic Handle, Metal Telescopic Wand / Metal Wand /Plastic Wand or Hose.
  • The appliance is operated for long periods with an obstructed intake or exhaust.

Empty the Dust Compartment or remove the obstruction in the nozzle, Curved Wand / Ergonomic Handle, Metal Telescopic Wand / Metal Wand / Plastic Wand or Hose.
When to use again
Wait about 60 minutes (depends on the surrounding temperature). The Safety Device will reset and you can use the appliance again.
