3. Kukhazikitsa ndi Kuyika

The Venom Enclosed Micro Red Dot is designed for easy mounting and is compatible with a DeltaPoint Pro footprint. Ensure your firearm is unloaded and safe before proceeding with installation.

3.1. Identifying Components:

3.2. Mounting the Sight:

  1. Identify the correct screw set from the included accessories that matches your firearm's optic-ready slide or adapter plate.
  2. Place the Venom sight onto the mounting surface, aligning the screw holes.
  3. Secure the sight using the appropriate screws and the custom tool. Tighten screws to the manufacturer's recommended torque specifications.
  4. Ensure the sight is securely installed and does not wobble.

3.3. Kuyika kwa Battery:

The Venom sight uses a CR2032 battery, conveniently located in a side-load tray.

  1. Using the custom tool or a flathead screwdriver, unscrew the battery cap located on the side of the sight.
  2. Remove any protective plastic film from the new CR2032 battery.
  3. Insert the CR2032 battery into the tray with the positive (+) side facing outwards.
  4. Replace the battery cap and tighten it securely to maintain the waterproof seal.

4. Malangizo Ogwiritsira Ntchito

4.1. Kuyatsa/Kuzimitsa:

  • To power on, press either the '+' or '-' button for approximately 5 seconds.
  • To power off, press and hold both the '+' and '-' buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds.

4.2. Kusintha kwa Kuwala:

  • Use the '+' button to increase brightness.
  • Use the '-' button to decrease brightness.
  • The sight offers 12 brightness settings: 10 for daylight and 2 night vision compatible.

4.3. Motion Activation & Auto-Shutoff:

  • The sight automatically activates with motion.
  • An integrated 10-minute auto-shutoff feature conserves battery life during periods of inactivity.

4.4. Zeroing the Sight:

  • Use the elevation and windage adjustment turrets (refer to Figure 3.1) to adjust the point of impact.
  • Each click of the turret adjusts the point of impact by 1 MOA.
  • Turn the elevation turret clockwise to move the point of impact up, counter-clockwise to move it down.
  • Turn the windage turret clockwise to move the point of impact right, counter-clockwise to move it left.

5. Kusamalira

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Vortex Venom sight.

5.1. Kuyeretsa:

  • Use the provided lens cloth to gently wipe the lenses. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • For stubborn dirt or smudges, use a lens cleaning solution specifically designed for optics.

  • When not in use, place the rubber cover over the sight to protect the lenses and housing.

6.1. Dot Not Appearing or Flickering:

  • Onani Battery: Ensure the CR2032 battery is correctly installed with the positive side up and has sufficient charge. Replace if necessary.
  • Kapu ya Battery: Make sure the battery cap is securely tightened to ensure proper contact.
  • Kuyambitsa Kuyenda: Gently shake the sight to activate the motion sensor if it has been inactive.

6.2. Inaccurate Point of Impact:

  • Zeroing: Re-zero the sight according to the instructions in Section 4.4.
  • Chitetezo Chokwera: Verify that the sight is securely mounted to your firearm and that all screws are tightened to the recommended torque.

6.3. Environmental Issues (Fogging/Water Intrusion):

  • The sight is fogproof and waterproof. If fogging occurs internally, ensure the battery cap is fully tightened. If water intrusion is suspected, contact Vortex support.
