Khazikitsa

1. Kulipiritsa Chipangizo

Before first use, fully charge your Z16 translator using the provided charging cable. Connect the cable to the device's charging port and a compatible USB power adapter (not included). The device will indicate when charging is complete.

2. Kuyatsa/Kuzimitsa

• Kuyatsa: Press and hold the power button (usually located on the side) until the screen illuminates.
• Kuzimitsa: Press and hold the power button until a power-off menu appears on the screen, then select 'Power Off'.

3. Kukonzekera Koyamba

1. Upon first power-on, follow the on-screen prompts to select your preferred system language.
2. Connect to a Wi-Fi network for online translation features. Navigate to Zokonda> Wi-Fi, select your network, and enter the password.
3. Ensure the device's software is up to date for optimal performance. Check for updates in Settings > About Device > Software Update.

The Z16 translator offers multiple translation modes and features to assist with various communication needs.

1. Online Translation (139+ Languages)

For real-time translation of over 139 languages, ensure your device is connected to Wi-Fi. Select the 'Online Translation' mode from the main menu. Choose your source and target languages, then press and hold the designated voice input button to speak. Release the button to hear and see the translation.

2. Offline Translation (17+ Languages)

The Z16 supports offline translation for 17 common languages, ideal for travel without internet access. Download the required language packs in advance via Settings > Offline Languages. Once downloaded, select 'Offline Translation' mode and proceed as with online voice translation.

3. Photo Translation (75+ Languages)

Translate text from images, signs, or documents in over 75 languages. Select 'Photo Translation' mode, align the text within the camera frame on the screen, and capture the image. The device will process and display the translated text.

4. Real-Time Simultaneous Interpretation

Engage in dynamic conversations with real-time interpretation. The device listens and translates spoken words almost instantly, allowing for smoother communication.

5. Multi-Group Translation

Connect with multiple users for group translation sessions, enabling synchronous communication across different languages over a distance. Refer to the device's on-screen guide for setting up group translation.

6. AI Voice Assistant (Xiaobei AI)

The Z16 includes an intelligent AI voice assistant, Xiaobei AI, capable of assisting with various tasks such as voice conversations, AI writing, and intelligent text excerpting and editing. Access this feature from the main menu.

7. Smart Recording

• Kuyeretsa: Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to clean the device's screen and body. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Posungira: Store the translator in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

• Mavuto a Wi-Fi: Check if other devices can connect to the Wi-Fi network. Restart your router and the translator. Re-enter the Wi-Fi password carefully.
• Offline Translation Not Working: Confirm that the necessary language packs have been downloaded and installed.
• Kuchita Pang'onopang'ono: Close any unused applications running in the background. Restarting the device can often resolve temporary slowdowns.
