Upon first use or after a prolonged power outage, the display may be blank or show incorrect time. Press the C/R button (often recessed, requiring a pointed object) to reset the device. The internal battery will charge once power is supplied to the unit.

5.4 Programming ON/OFF Cycles

The TM617 allows for up to 16 ON/OFF programs. Each program consists of an ON time and an OFF time, and can be set for specific days or groups of days.

  1. Dinani pa P button once to enter program setting mode. The display will show "1 ON".
  2. Press D+ to select the desired day(s) for this program. Options typically include individual days (MO, TU, WE, etc.), weekdays (MO TU WE TH FR), weekends (SA SU), or all days (MO TU WE TH FR SA SU).
  3. Press H+ to set the ON hour.
  4. Press M+ to set the ON minute.
  5. Dinani pa P button again. The display will show "1 OFF".
  6. Repeat steps 2-4 to set the OFF time for the first program.
  7. Dinani pa P button again to move to the next program ("2 ON"). Repeat the process for up to 16 programs.
  8. To exit program setting mode and return to the current time display, press the Chizindikiro cha Clock batani.

5.5 Kuwongolera pamanja

Dinani pa Chizindikiro Chamanja button to manually switch the output state (ON/OFF) without affecting the programmed schedule. This is useful for temporary control. The display will indicate the manual override status (e.g., "ON" or "OFF" with a hand icon).

6. Kusamalira

The SINOTIMER TM617 is designed for low maintenance. Follow these guidelines to ensure optimal performance:
