5. Kukhazikitsa ndi Kuyika

Professional installation by a certified plumber and electrician is strongly recommended to ensure safety and compliance with all local codes.

5.1 Kukwera

  • Select a suitable vertical wall location that can support the weight of the water heater when full (approx. 19 kg empty + 43 kg water = 62 kg).
  • Ensure adequate clearance around the unit for maintenance and air circulation.
  • Use the provided wall anchors to securely mount the water heater.

  • Connect the cold water inlet (blue connection) to your main cold water supply.
  • Install the 3-in-1 safety group on the cold water inlet line. This group includes a drain valve, check valve, and pressure relief valve. Ensure it is installed correctly to prevent backflow and overpressure.
  • Connect the hot water outlet (red connection) to your hot water distribution system.
  • Once connections are made, slowly open the cold water supply valve to fill the tank. Open a hot water tap in your home to allow air to escape until water flows steadily.

  • Turbo: Provides rapid heating for quick hot water availability.
  • Zokwanira: Balances heating speed and energy efficiency.
  • Chuma: Prioritizes energy saving by heating water to a lower, but still comfortable, temperature.
  • Wanzeru: Activates the intelligent learning function.

7. Smart Mode Functionality

The 'SMART' mode is designed to optimize energy consumption based on your hot water usage patterns. When activated, the water heater monitors your hot water consumption over a 7-day cycle. It then anticipates future demand, heating water only when needed. During periods of low demand, the water is maintained at a minimum temperature to save energy while ensuring comfort.
