3. Kukhazikitsa

3.1 Kuyatsa Koyamba

Upon first use, or after a battery replacement, the stopwatch may require initial setup. Remove any protective film from the display.

3.2 Kukhazikitsa Nthawi ndi Tsiku

  1. Dinani pa MODE/SELECT button repeatedly until the stopwatch is in Nthawi Mode (displaying the current time).
  2. Press ndi kugwira KHALANI button until the time digits begin to flash.
  3. Gwiritsani ntchito YAMBANI/IMANI batani kuti musinthe manambala owunikira (maola, mphindi, masekondi).
  4. Gwiritsani ntchito LAP / Bwezeretsani button to move to the next digit or setting (e.g., month, day, year).
  5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 until all desired settings are configured.

4.1 Kusintha Mitundu

4.2 Stopwatch Mode (Timing Events)

  1. Ensure the stopwatch is in Njira Yoyimira wotchi. The display will typically show '00:00:00'.
  2. Dinani pa YAMBANI/IMANI batani loyambira nthawi.
  3. To pause the timing, press the YAMBANI/IMANI button again. The time will freeze on the display.
  4. To resume timing from the paused point, press the YAMBANI/IMANI batani kamodzinso.
  5. To stop and finalize the timing, press the YAMBANI/IMANI batani.
  6. Kuti mubwezeretse wotchi yoyimitsa mpaka pa zero, dinani batani LAP / Bwezeretsani button while the stopwatch is stopped.

4.3 Lap and Split Timing

The PC3860 stopwatch supports lap and split timing, allowing you to record intermediate times during an event.

  1. In Njira Yoyimira wotchi, dinani pa YAMBANI/IMANI batani loyambira nthawi.
  2. To record a lap time, press the LAP / Bwezeretsani button while the stopwatch is running. The lap time will be displayed briefly, and the main timer will continue running in the background.
  3. Repeat step 2 for subsequent laps. The stopwatch can store up to 60 lap/split records.
  4. To stop the overall timing, press the YAMBANI/IMANI batani.
  5. Ku view recorded lap and split times, press the KUMBUKIRANI batani. Gwiritsani ntchito YAMBANI/IMANI ndi LAP / Bwezeretsani buttons to navigate through the stored records.
  6. Dinani pa KUMBUKIRANI button again to exit memory recall mode.
  7. To clear all stored memory, ensure the stopwatch is stopped and not in recall mode, then press and hold the LAP / Bwezeretsani batani.

4.4 Timer Mode (Countdown)

  1. Dinani pa MODE/SELECT button until you reach Powerengetsera powerengetsera. The display will show a countdown time, or '00:00:00' if not set.
  2. To set the countdown time, press and hold the KHALANI button until the digits flash.
  3. Gwiritsani ntchito YAMBANI/IMANI batani kuti musinthe manambala owunikira (maola, mphindi, masekondi).
  4. Gwiritsani ntchito LAP / Bwezeretsani batani kuti mupite ku nambala yotsatira.
  5. Dinani pa KHALANI button again to confirm the countdown time.
  6. Dinani pa YAMBANI/IMANI batani kuti muyambe kuwerengera nthawi.
  7. To pause the countdown, press the YAMBANI/IMANI batani. Dinani kachiwiri kuti mupitirize.
  8. When the countdown reaches zero, an alarm will sound (if enabled).
  9. To reset the timer to the preset time, press the LAP / Bwezeretsani button while the timer is stopped.

5.1 Kuyeretsa

To clean the stopwatch, use a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth with mild soap can be used, followed by immediate drying. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the display or casing.

Store the stopwatch in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for an extended period, consider removing the battery to prevent leakage, although specific battery type information is not provided.
